- In order to blur out the background and focus on the main object
- Use a tad bit of lip balm on the rim of your camera lens and leave an empty spot in the middle
- To provide an ombre element to your photo, color a plastic bag different colors and make sure the mixture of colors ends up on top of your lens (when you put the plastic bag over it)

- If you want to stabilize your photo use your camera strap (follow the steps below)
- Put the strap around your neck
- Hold the camera out as far as you can, make sure that the strap isn’t slipping off

- In order to distort the light so that your phots gains unrealistic qualities, use a prism.
- If you want to add texture to your picture, use a plastic bag. If you find filters more usable, you can put an arrangement of colored straws on a yogurt lid and use it as a camera filter.
- If you want to make part of your picture brighter, you can use plain white paper to reflect the light.
- You could also use a metallic surface, but the light being reflected of the metallic panel is strong enough to damage the human eye.
